SSJ (Super Saiyan)
SSJ (Super Saiyan) is the very first form that Goku has in DBZ. It was thought to be a legend and that it would never happen again. This form was introduced when Goku watched his best friend, Krillin, die to an evil warlord, named Lord Frieza, his rage and pure heart gave him this new power. The form includes yellow hair, standing on end into a different shape, his aura that he makes is now a bright yellow to mark that is a true SSJ form. It is x50 stronger than base form.
SSJ2 (Super Saiyan 2)
SSJ2 (Super Saiyan 2) is the second form that Goku unlocked in DBZ, introduced in the Cell Games Tournament after encountering a new enemy named Cell (Or Perfect Cell at the time). After training for years he achieved this form surpassing his original Super Saiyan form. The form is similar in looks to the original SSJ form but the yellow hair is split into more parts and an added feature to the bright yellow aura are the minor sparks of electricity surrounding him. This form is x100 stronger than base.
SSJ3 (Super Saiyan 3)
SSJ3 (Super Saiyan 3) is the third form that Goku obtained in DBZ, introduced in the Buu saga, showing the enemy Majin Buu during his fight with the Majins. This form includes long blonde hair about waist level. Goku does not have any eyebrows in this form. His yellow aura has added more electric sparks compared to SSJ2. When Goku achieved this form, he had limited time on Earth, meaning he would die later than expected. The first transformation took at least 5 minutes. This form is x400 stronger than base.
SSJ4 (Super Saiyan 4)
SSJ4 (Super Saiyan 4) is the fourth form that Goku turned into. This is found in the DBGT (Dragon Ball GT) series. This form is technically non-canon but is a major boost to Goku's character. The form happens when Goku (as a kid) turns into the Great Ape Oozaru but with the SSJ power being used, this is known as the Golden Great Ape. After witnessing his granddaughter Pan crying to calm him down, as she saw him, he turned to human with this new form. SSJ4's appearance comes with the original black hair, but more longer. Goku has red rings around his dark orange eyes. He has red fur that covers his added tail and most of his body except for his hands, feet, chest and face. He slightly resembles an ape. It still keeps the normal SSJ aura. It is x4000 stronger than base form.
